With the commencement of the Veterinary Practice Act 2021 on 18 June 2022, trainee veterinary nurses are no longer required to apply for authorisation from the Board and are now known as veterinary nurse students.

Once you have successfully completed your studies you must apply to the Board to register before you begin work as a veterinary nurse.
