We recognise that the standard way that training and assessment is presented might not suit everyone. This could be due to various reasons, including learning differences, physical abilities, or other circumstances.

As your training provider, we're committed to working with you to create a fair and accessible learning experience. This means we can make reasonable adjustments to how you complete your assessments to help you demonstrate your knowledge and skills successfully.
It's important to know that while we can adapt how we assess you, we can't remove the assessments entirely. They are a vital part of ensuring that all graduates meet the national standards required for your qualification. Our goal is to find alternative ways to assess the same learning outcomes.
To help us understand your needs and explore possible adjustments, we encourage you to share any information about learning differences, physical abilities, or circumstances that might affect your ability to complete assessments or engage with the learning resources. The best time to have this conversation is before you enrol. This allows us to discuss potential adjustments we can make proactively.
Every reasonable adjustment we offer needs to be justifiable and must maintain the integrity and standards of the qualification. This means that in some situations, the adjustments we can realistically offer might be limited, or we may determine that the course, in its current structure, may not be the most suitable learning environment for your individual needs. We'll always have an open and honest conversation with you about this.
WHAT IS REASONABLE ADJUSTMENT?
Reasonable adjustment is a legislative term that, for vocational education and training, refers to a measure or action taken by an education provider to enable learners with different abilities to participate in education and training.
All registered training providers are obliged to provide reasonable adjustment. Its purpose is to make it possible for learners of varying abilities to:
- participate fully, with equal learning opportunities
- have the same opportunity to perform and complete assessments.
