Rental information

All equipment remains the property of Veterinary Nurse Solutions Pty Ltd (VNS) unless specifically stated.

Only current students are able to hire equipment.

All equipment is hired subject to a deposit being paid, with the deposit (less any outstanding hire or repair fees) refunded once equipment is returned in good working condition, clean, and all parts present.

Any equipment not returned to VNS by the end of the hire period the hirer will be charged the cost per hire rate on a weekly basis until returned. This ensures equipment is available for other students in a timely manner.

Any outstanding fees, including for repairs, that remain outstanding for more than 30 days and are not covered by the deposit will be handed to a debt collection agency. The hirer will be responsible for all debt collection costs in addition to the amount due.

If any items are not returned without arranging an additional hire period, the student's enrolment will be suspended until the equipment is returned and hire fees will accrue as above. The hirer agrees to return the equipment to the address provided by VNS, on or before the end of the hire period and that failure to do so can be criminal theft and may be immediately reported to the police.

Please allow $30-100 for freight charges each way including insurance for expensive mannequin items. Freight charges will be added when booking, and when you're ready to return the equipment, we will provide instructions on how to book the return to us.

Deposit, freight both ways (and purchase of disposable kits if needed) must be paid before any equipment is hired out.

VNS has inspection procedures in place to ensure that items delivered for hire are in good quality and in
the quantity as confirmed. It is the Hirers responsibility to
ensure notification, of any shortages or damages to the delivered or collected goods, within 12 hours or before
used, which ever comes first.

The repair or replacement cost of any equipment or parts broken during use will be the responsibility of the hirer. We recommend you take photos of the equipment upon arrival, and as packing as evidence of condition.
